I humbly greet you in the name of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I am indeed delighted that you have taken time to visit our website.  The Mount Olive Development Corporation, MODCO, was created by the New Mount Olive Baptist Church years ago with the mission/purpose “to revitalize urban communities by providing strategic programs that promote economic development, create jobs and focus on strengthening families through Public Services, Affordable Housing and Entrepreneurial Ventures.” Founded in 1918, the New Mount Olive Baptist Church has established a rich and long history of providing social services in Central Broward County.

 

The Church’s congregation of over 9,000 active members has shaped its service delivery continuum targeted to low-income and uninsured communities which have been plagued by a number of socioeconomic factors including poor health outcomes, high rates of unemployment, crime, substance abuse and a myriad of other complex social issues. As you peruse our website, you will see that we are excited about our service to the community.  It is with the love and compassion of Christ that we have carefully designed programs that express our intentionality about meeting the diverse needs of our community.  

 

Also, because we believe in excellence, MODCO has very qualified and capable leadership along with a very friendly staff that will personally attend to your needs.  You can be assured that it is our goal to reach out and help those who are hurting and are in need of a helping hand.
